Brittain Road Reservoir Replacement

Great Lakes is working to replace the Brittain Road Reservoir in Akron, OH. Great Lakes’ scope consists of the demolition of the existing buried square tank, the site preparation to construct a new 12.4 MG circular tank, and the construction of a new operations building containing the associated process piping. 

To date, crews have completed demolition of the existing tank and gatehouse, including removal of surrounding soils, demolition of walls below future grade, and removal of the existing tank floor. Upcoming work includes placement of approximately 17 feet of fill to establish the new tank subgrade.
