Project 409-22
Canton Sugar Creek WTP & Wellfield Improvements
Canton, OH
Site storm piping at the City of Canton Sugar Creek Water Treatment Plant has recently been completed to allow for the start of 6,000 feet of new underground electrical duct bank that feeds the 10 wells. This duct bank will replace the existing overhead power lines once the electrical transformers and switchgear at the Water Treatment Plant are replaced later in the project. Installation of the new 2,000-foot-long redundant ductile iron pipe raw water transmission main has also commenced, including a jack and bore of the 24” pipe under State Route 21.
