Project 594-25
Cleveland Clinic Fairview Park
Cleveland, OH
Great Lakes is currently performing Phase 1 work on the Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital Cancer Center expansion project at a facility recognized among the top hospitals in Newsweek’s 2026 rankings of the world’s best hospitals.
The scope includes excavation to subgrade, installation of 88 drilled foundations ranging from 3’ to 5’ in diameter, grade beams and pile caps around the building perimeter, four mat foundation slabs, 54 drilled soldier piles, a precast concrete retaining wall, new pavement, and underground utility work.
Crews are currently completing the remaining foundation work within the building footprint. Upcoming Phase 1 work includes installation of a precast retaining wall, construction of a 25’ deep storm sewer, additional pavement work, and an underground detention system. Despite working within a highly congested site alongside multiple subcontractors, Great Lakes has continued to perform the work safely and efficiently while maintaining steady progress.
