This fast-track project commenced in January 2025 and is scheduled to be completed by early summer. Crews have completed the demolition of the existing structure, installed the shoring protection for the new pier footers, drove new 14” pipe pile at the piers, retrofitted the existing abutments, and constructed the new pier footers, columns, and caps. Upon completion of the substructure, precast box beams will be installed on the new substructure and topped with a concrete deck by mid-May.
