East Akron GIS Foundations

Great Lakes’ Energy Sector recently completed the foundation package for East Akron GIS Building in partnership with a local electrical contractor. The work included construction of a 105’ long by 43’ wide slab foundation, along with installation of 18 perimeter footers. In addition to the foundation, crews installed 47 embed plates and 216 cast-in-place anchor bolts, requiring careful coordination and precision to meet project specifications.
