Despite early railroad delays, the project is advancing strong this construction season. At the I-75 bridge, crews have completed the rear abutment footers and pier, with pile driving for the forward abutment underway. Crews will continue to build the abutments throughout the winter with structural steel scheduled to be installed June 2026. The Prosser bridge has both abutments, bearings, and beams in place, with the deck pour slated for early November. At the SR-562 bridge, Phase 1 abutment construction is almost complete, and pier construction has started. Structural steel is scheduled to be installed in January with deck construction starting in spring. Phase 2 of the SR-562 bridge is scheduled to start January 2027. With steady progress, the project is currently on schedule to be completed in June 2028.
