Project 583-25
Strongsville WWTP B & C Rehabilitation
Strongsville, OH

The Strongsville Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) project includes major mechanical and electrical upgrades to the City of Strongsville’s Plant B and Plant C facilities. At Plant C, all four raw sewage pumps have been replaced with dry-pit submersible pumps, along with new variable frequency drives (VFDs) and a programmable logic controller (PLC).

In addition, the first two of six Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) process trains (nine RBC units in total) have been replaced and are now in service. The first of eight continuous backwash upflow sand filters has also been replaced and is operational.

The project is scheduled to reach substantial completion in February 2027.
